Danny has been an active member / deacon for many years.
Deacons of First Baptist Church are men and women serving. Follow us our Saviour Jesus Christ said in Matthew 20:28, "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve."
Fulfilling that verse is two-fold service: We have family ministry, so each family has its own deacon; we have deacon ministry teams, where deacons and members of the church work together to serve within each team. (Casserole team, Family Bereavement, Staff Support, Celebration, Ministry Outreach, new Members, Hospital Visitation, Prayer, and Ministry Care.) All being done for the glory of God.
